“ I was hoping for more. Don't get me wrong, it's a wonderful restaurant. But those who consider it Micheline level haven't perhaps been to enough Michelin restaurants. Let's start with the good parts: the atmosphere and the overall decor are very elegant and also very comfortable. We walked in from the Plaza side right at the minute of our reservation, and we had to awkwardly wait around the entry for someone to notice us, and then wait a bit more to be seated. It's worth noting that there were only 2 other tables besides us with guests, so I'm not sure what the wait was about. Other than that, the service was attentive and professional. We got two different multi-course menus with their recommended wine pairings. The amuse-bouche was the highlight of the evening, for sure. Its presentation was breathtaking. The dishes were a mix of good and some just ok. The wines were mostly just ok, no stand-outs. The bread cart and the cheese cart are a nice touch, but they fell slightly flat. Especially, the cheese cart selection can be improved in my opinion. I realize that I come from a land of award-winning cheeses, but if you're after Michelin stars, then that's an area where you can look to improve. None of the cheeses served were unique or interesting or memorable. Amongst the bread, one was very good (I think the rye bread?), the rest were ok. The salted butter was good but they didn't replenish it after we finished it (my husband likes butter with his bread, so he ended up scraping the last bit from the butter dish. That shouldn't be the case at such an establishment). The washrooms (inside the hotel) were actually quite nice (which is a strange comment to leave here for the restaurant, but they stood out, with their choice of hand soaps and hand lotion). Overall, I don't have a fault with the restaurant per se. It was an enjoyable experience but not a stand out. ”

I want to highlight amuse bouche, starter (raw prawns with amazing sauce) and bread (they proposed a variety of different breads and all of them were absolutely delicious).
